A group of highly-skilled professionals provide Mount Prospect Academy’s in-home, community-based services. Our team focuses on providing intensive client-driven services for families.
Within MPA’s various service models, our team can work closely with families in their own environment, creating the best possibility for lasting impact. Team members specialize in providing trauma-sensitive treatment, and they maintain a trauma-informed approach within all operations. Engaging with challenging families is our strength; we demonstrate the utmost respect for and try to bring our clients voice into everything we do.

Department of Mental Health:
The DMH Flex Service program is intended to provide an individualized treatment team that will work together to assist a client and their family in achieving optimal mental health and functioning. There are four support roles available to each family based on clinical need: Clinician, Therapeutic Support Specialist, Family Partner, and Young Adult Peer Mentor. Becket Family of Services flex team members work collaboratively with DMH as well as other service providers involved with the family.
Department of Children and Families:
Project Connect: Families in this program are provided with 7-10 hours of service per week, typically with a permanency team of 3.
Building Connections: Families in this program are provided with 5-7 hours of service per week, typically with a permanency team of 2-3.
Solid Foundations: Families in this program are provided with 3-5 hours of service per week, typically with a permanency team of 1-2.
Services Offered:
Individual counseling, family counseling, group counseling, couples counseling, educational counseling, case management and service coordination, psychoeducation and parent training, substance abuse counseling and education, anger and behavioral management, trauma informed care, preparation for independent living, role modeling and applied learning in the community, pro-social community based groups, GROW curriculum, ARC Framework trauma based treatment, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Adventure therapy groups for preschool, latency and adolescent aged youth, 24-hour call support.
